Taro's new origami workshop studio in Park Slope is pre-opening on November 1, 2011. Come and join us for a hands-on origami folding learning experience using our touch-screen based origami software. You can personalize your origami creation by decorating with stamps and colorful pens. For only $5, both children (3 years & up) and adults can join in the fun!

Classes for children & adults, Origami birthday party rentals on Saturdays and Sundays will be coming soon!

3-D Origami Workshop at Japanese Language School of Philadelphia

Taro's 3-D Origami Workshop will be held at Japanese Language School of Philadelphia(JLSP) on October 23, 2010 from 1pm.

Program of the workshop will be:
(1) Powerpoint Presentation of Taro's Origami Studio.
(2) Demonstration of 3-D origami by Taro : Big Dog
(3) Experience of Taro's Origami by students of JLSP: Girl's face (see bellow picture)

The head portion and body portion are each folded from square papers without cutting. Dress are created first put a design paper on the square paper for the body portion and the two papers are folded together.
